Travels With My Aunt
Dollar Drama Club's only production of 2020 was the comedy "Travels With My Aunt" by Giles Havergal, adapted from the novel by Graham Greene. This was performed on the 13th, 14th and 15th February 2020 in Dollar Academy's Studio Theatre.
Directed by Linda Rice.

The plot followed the travels of Henry Pulling, a retired bank manager, and his eccentric Aunt Augusta as they found their way across Europe in the 1960s, and eventually to South America. Aunt Augusta pulled Henry away from his quiet suburban existence into a world of adventure, crime and the highly unconventional details of her past.
There were many characters in this play, and the four actors played multiple parts. All four played Henry Pulling, and all four (male) actors each played at least one woman. This was not an invention of Dollar Drama Club; it was written this way.
