Table Manners

by Alan Ayckbourn

Dollar Drama Club's autumn production is "Table Manners" by Alan Ayckbourn. This full-length comic play will be performed in Dollar Academy Studio Theatre over four nights from Wednesday 22nd to Saturday 25th October 2025 at 7.30pm.
Sir Alan Ayckbourn is a prolific British playwright and director who has written and produced 90 full-length plays.
This play is part of a trilogy called "The Norman Conquests" written in 1973. It contains mild adult themes and no strong language.
The action revolves around a family gathering. Annie lives in a countryside house taking care of her elderly mother, and has decided that she needs a weekend off. Family members have agreed to come and take care of the mother while Annie goes away for a weekend. However, Annie has not told them everything that is planned.
